Guru Cloud & AI ("we", "us") builds custom AI and software for businesses. This page explains what information we collect on gurucloudai.com and what we do with it — in plain language, because that's how we prefer to work.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, company, and email when you use the contact form, request a scope, or sign in.
- Scoping conversations — what you type to our scoping assistant, and any documents you attach, so we can draft your project scope and a human can review it.
- Usage analytics — standard page-view analytics (pages visited, approximate location, device type) to understand what's useful.
- Client portal data — if you're a client, your project board, invoices, and messages live in your portal so you can see them.
What we do with it
- Respond to you, draft and deliver project scopes, and run your projects.
- Improve the site and our scoping assistant.
- Send you things you asked for. We don't do cold marketing blasts.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We don't use your project details to train public AI models.
- We don't share your information except with the service providers that run our infrastructure (cloud hosting, email delivery, AI model providers used to process your scoping requests) — and only as needed to provide the service.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to count visits. No third-party ad tracking pixels beyond standard conversion measurement.
Retention & your choices
We keep contact and project records for as long as we work together (and as required for accounting afterwards). Want your data corrected or deleted? Email salter@gurucloudai.com and we'll take care of it.
